Earth Day 2026: Nurturing Young Minds to Care With a view to enlightening our young minds to preserve our Mother Earth, an Earth Day Celebration was organized at Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town. The event aimed to promote awareness among students about the importance of sustainable living and the significance of taking care of our planet - Mother Earth. An array of activities was organized wherein students of Classes III to V enacted thought-provoking roleplay and presented an inspiring speech in order to make the students aware of current environmental issues. Students of classes IV to V prepared beautiful posters and headgears showcasing their artistic skill and talent. A “Best Out of Waste” activity was also conducted for the young stewards and it provided a platform for our Eco-warriors to showcase their talent while deepening their understanding of sustainable practices and crafting a greener tomorrow. The students emerged as passionate advocates for change, pledging to adopt eco-friendly practices in their daily lives. Hence, our school continues its mission of nurturing mindful learners who are prepared to preserve and protect our Mother Earth for the years to come.
